Miroslav Reljanovic is founder and CEO of Ergomed. A Medical Doctor and MSc, Miro finished Medical School at the University of Zagreb and did postgraduate studies in Epidemiology at the Zagreb Medical School. He has been a fully qualified neurologist since 1989.

Physician, employed at Vuk Vrhovac Institute for diabetes, endocrinology and metabolic diseases (a WHO Collaborating Centre).
1989-1999
Investigator in different clinical research projects in the field of diabetic neuropathy, phases II&III (Pfizer, Boehringer, Scotia Pharmaceuticals, Asta Medica).
Research Consultant / Advisor to the pharmaceutical industry (Otsuka, Scotia, Asta Medica, Hoechst, Apogepha).
1997
Founded Ergomed (the first CRO in Croatia).
1999-
Full-time involvement in the development of Ergomed, with some ongoing, occasional consultancy to pharmaceutical companies.
1999
At Ergomed, introduced a Study Site Coordination model based on British experience in Central and Eastern Europe.
2001
Established Ergomed Clinical Research Ltd in the UK as the principal business and contracting company for the Ergomed group.
2001-2002
Held a Board position with Intercern Ltd (U), the European Site Management Organisation.
